Weather

At The Tournament Ground we believe there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing! Children should have a waterproof and wellies as well as layers and sun cream in the warmer days. We advise that everyone brings a change of dry clothes. Old trainers are ideal footwear.

If it’s cold we will build a fire, if it’s wet we will build a shelter. We learn to adapt to our surroundings and learn survival skills. Our sessions are led by a fully qualified Tournament Ground leader who is also survival academy trained.

First time at Blyth Activity Centre with my 9 year old daughter today. We chose archery and had so much fun! Instructors were great. Even let us try out the archery tag at the end. We will definitely be back to try out some of the other activities.
